In the last two years, so many individuals have grown over night into figures from Tik Tok. There are people that grow overnight for things as simple as dancing. In one young man's case, he created a platform that later turned into a business by teaching other students how to succeed in school. Gohar Khan is a 22-year-old who has almost two million followers on the app. He has mastered his technique to figure out how to get more views and practiced graphic design to continue to improve. As you can see, continuing to become more successful and develop takes practice and effort. He is now making six figures through brand deals.
Brand deals are something I hear about often on different social media apps and are honestly why I am skeptical about social media now. I can't tell when an individual is promoting something because they genuinely like it, or because of the money they are making off of promoting it. If I was an advertiser, I would look into who I'm choosing to promote my product or idea. I think it's important that they have credibility and a positive background. I saw in Khan's case; he gained a lot of credibility through his practice and schooling. He is now running his own business and is continuing to help students around the world.
Tik Tok is one of those apps where a lot of creators simply blow up by pure luck. In that case, it's hard work and credibility that keeps them afloat and allows them to stand apart from the other million creators trying to do the same thing as you.
